More Than a Brunch - A Movement
We created The Cupcake Brunch as the social arm of Heaven’s Delights - a space where food, fun, and purpose come together.
What started as a simple idea has grown into a vibrant, evolving community event, bringing people together through cupcakes, creativity, and connection. Each year, it continues to grow - welcoming more guests, supporting more young people, and making a greater impact.
Why We Created It & Our Mission
Giving back has always been at the heart of The Cupcake Brunch. Each year, we support a youth-focused Charity of the Year - inspired by the fact that our Founder & CEO, Zarah, was just 14 years old when she came up with the idea. That perspective shaped everything, driving us to create something that not only brings people together, but also uplifts and invests in young people and their futures.
Behind the sweetness, there’s a deeper reality. 60% of UK employers say school-leavers aren’t work-ready, 1 in 5 young people lack access to meaningful work experience, and too many communities remain divided by race, income, and opportunity. We realised our bakery could be more than just a business - it could be a bridge.
The Cupcake Brunch is a community-led initiative designed to create real impact. We raise funds for a youth-focused charity each year while offering volunteer opportunities for individuals aged 16+. These roles are strictly voluntary and provide hands-on experience in event planning, customer service, teamwork, and creative skills, all within a supportive environment that builds confidence and personal development.
Alongside this, we create opportunities for young entrepreneurs through stall spaces and bring communities together through shared experiences, culture, and celebration. At its core, The Cupcake Brunch is about empowering young people, creating opportunities, and building confidence and career readiness - connecting people, creating impact, and giving back, one cupcake at a time.
